How Digital SAT scoring works

Raw score

One point per correct answer, no penalty for a wrong one — always answer every question, even a guess beats a blank.

Adaptive Module 2

Each section has two modules. Your Module 1 result decides whether Module 2 is easier or harder — and only the harder path unlocks the very top scores.

Scaled score

Each section's raw score converts to a 200–800 scaled score through equating, so a given score means the same on every test date.
